Mixture:

--Each substance keeps its own properties

--Each substance is easily separated from a mixture.

-- Like a salad, it has all the parts that make up a salad, but the lettuce is still separate from the tomatoes.

Compound:

--Has properties different from the elements it contains.

--Can only be separated into its elements using chemical reactions.

--Like a cake, you put all the ingredients together to make a batter, you bake it, and then the ingredients chemically combine to form a cake.

a compound is a pure substance formed when the atoms of 2 or more elements combine chemically in a definite proportion, while a mixture is obtained when 2 or more pure substances are mixed in varying proportions without undergoing any chemical change. Please mark me as the brainliest.
