Mixed Cropping :-
- Targets to minimize the risk of crop failure.
- Seeds of two crops are mixed before sowing.
- Seeds of different crops are not grown in any definite pattern.
- Some fertilizers have to be used for all crops being grown under mixed cropping.
- Different pesticides cannot be used to different crops growing in a field.
- Crops cannot be harvested and threshed separately.
- Products of different crops cannot be separated. They get mixed. Thus, products are marketed and consumed in mixed form.

- Fertilizers can be used as per the need of different crops.
- Pesticides can be used as per the requirement of each crop.
