Explanation:

PD It is the work done in taking a unit charge from one point of the circuit to another. EMF It is related with the source of current. PD It is related with any 2 points of a closed circuit. EMF It is a cause of the PD between any 2 points in the circuit i.e., when emf is applied in a circuit, pd is caused.
