Systole:

● The contraction phase of heart is called systole.

●Blood enters arteries due to contraction of atria and ventricles.

●Systole increase pressure in the arterial system.

● The systolic pressure is 120mm of Hg.

Diastole:

● The relaxation phase of heart is called diastole.

●Blood enter into the atria and ventricles due to relaxation.

●Diastole decreases pressure in the arterial system.

●Diastolic pressure is 80mm of Hg.
