The key difference between thallophyta and pteridophyta is that the thallophyta is a group of non-mobile organisms that possess a thallus-like undifferentiated body while the pteridophyta is a group of vascular plants that possess a plant body differentiated into true stem, roots, and leaves.

Thallophytes do not have roots, stem, leaves. They just have a thallus like body organization.

pteridophytes are differentiated into true roots, stem and leaves.

Thallophytes do not have vasular tissues that is xylem and phloem. They are called atracheates

Pteridophytes have well developed vascular tissues. Hence they are called tracheates.

Hope this helps you ☺️
