THERMOMETER- A thermometer is a temperature measuring instrument. Thermometer contains a liquid metal called mercury. Mercury is a bright shining liquid. To measure the temperature, doctor or nurses keep the thermometer on the patients armpit or under his/her tongue. In this thermometer to measure the patients temperature, doctors and nurses have to look at which level the mercury had been rose up.

DIGITAL THERMOMETER- A digital thermometer is also a type of thermometer which works electronically. It doesn't contains mercury, instead it has digital cells which measure the patients temperature. In digital thermometer it is much more easier to measure the patients temperature as it gets recorded faster and shows the temperature on the screen.
