TROPICAL EVERGREEN FOREST
Tropical Evergreen forests are found in the area which receives more than 200 cm of rainfall annually and has a temperature between 15-30 degrees Celsius. They have taken up seven percent of the earth’s land and provide shelters to more than half of the world’s animals and plants.
TROPICAL MONSOON FOREST
These are also called tropical rain forests which receive heavy rainfall. These are also called monsoon forests. They are so dense that sunlight cannot reach the ground. They are less dense in comparison to Evergreen forests. The trees shed their leaves at different times and thus they seem to be evergreen.
