Monocots

→ Monocots have one cotyledon.

→ Monocots have fibrous roots.

→ They show parallel venation.

→ Sepals and Petals are not Distinct.

→ Floral appendages are present in multiples of 4 or 5.


Dicots

→ Dicots have two cotyledons.

→ Dicots have tap roots.

→ They show reticulate venation.

→ Sepals and petals are distinct.

→ Floral appendages are present in multiples of 3.
