Hi friend!
Being an Ashokan Fan myself, I believe that obstacles can never pull down your spirits, provided you have got the determination and willpower in you..

Let me talk about king Ashoka, my favourite hero since childhood. Ashoka, the great had to face many obstacles in his childhood. As he was growing up with his envious brothers, he realised that the Royal Palace of Magadha was not at all a bed of roses. When Ashoka was born, he was living with his mother in a faraway hut, which was immediately put into flames when his mother was still pregnant..However Ashoka and his mother Shubhadrangi, both were saved by God's grace...
During the competition held in Magadh to determine the true warrior prince of Magadh, Ashoka emerged as the hero, even though his brothers played dirty tricks in order to ensure that Ashok was eliminated from the competition..But Ashok knew not of defeat..The competition was very tough, and yet he passed it with flying colours..
His evil brothers plotted several plans to remove Ashoka from the kingdom by trying to murder him in various ways...But ashoka was always cautious...When it came to bravery, He was the Unbeatable braveheart who defeated many elderly men too. Death often came as an excuse to him, but always lost to him! He later turned very aggressive due to all the pains he and his mother had to suffer through in his childhood and vowed to fulfil his late guru's wishes by ascending the throne of  Magadha by hook or crook..
Indian heroes have never known of defeat...They were willing to die for the good of mankind, and they characterize a never give-up spirit..They have a dynamic character and are always willing to face all that comes on their way in life...They aren't afraid of life..For them, life is like a wonderful game, a game in which they have to excel by any means...that is their motto in life...Difficulties come and go in our lives...But we must not get disheartened by them..Life comes to us with many challenges..what sort of Players are we, in this game of life if we are not willing to face the hardships and its consequences...in this life, only they can succeed who love to take the plunge and also travel through the roads which are less travelled by and more full of risks and perils...what is the use if we don't take risks? Being an Indian, we must be proud of our ancestors and be as courageous as our Indian heroes were..
Ashoka was the ultimate winner in the war of Kalinga...But that is when he also underwent a dramatic chnage in his life..He adopted buddhism since he was so overcome by grief, and wanted to lead a life filled with non-violence..he was the only ruler, who changed his ways, and became the kindest and noblest of all rulers..that was a difficult point in his life..there were many a dangers in his life, but he kept on walking his way to glory..That's what you called a true indian spirit.
Jai Hind!
Jai Janani!
Jai Ashoka!!

MAY THE GREAT KING ASHOKA BE FOREVER ALIVE IN OUR HEARTS!
A big salue to this hero of ours!
