Different Rain Water Harvesting System in India are :

◾In semi-arid regions of Rajasthan, underground tanks are made for storing rain water. These are known as $\textbf{Tankas.}$ Water stored in them is known as $\textbf{Palar Pani}$.

◾In hills and mountainous regions there are big ponds. These are known as $\textbf{Guls}$ or $\textbf{Kuls}$. The water stored in them is mainly used in agriculture.

◾In Jaisalmer, the ponds used for rain water harvesting are known as $\textbf{Khadina}$ and $\textbf{Johdas}$ in other part of Rajasthan.
