Solid

Liquid

Gas

Three states of water :

Ice ( as solid )

Water ( as liquid )

vapour ( as gas )

★ There are two more state of matter :

Plasma

Bose - Einstein condensate

★ Fusion : The Conversion of solid state into liquid state is known as fusion. It is also called melting.

★ Solidification : The conversion of liquid state into solid state is known as solidification.

★ Evaporation : The Conversion of liquid state into gaseous state is known as Evaporation.

★ Condensation : The Conversion of gaseous state into liquid state is known as Condensation.

★ Sublimation : The Conversion of solid state into gaseous state directly is known as Sublimation.

★ Deposition : The Conversion of gaseous state into solid state directly is known as Deposition.

The three states of matter are SOLID, LIQUID, and GAS.

Solids are stronger than liquids ans gases. The molecules are very tightly packed and the molecules cannot move.

Liquids are weaker than solids but stronger than gases. The molecules are loosely packed and they can move.

Gases are weaker than solids and liquids. The molecules are very very loosely packed and are free to move anywhere they want.
