Q. Different type of chemical reactions with example?

Ans :-

Chemical Reaction :- The reaction in which two or more reactant together to form a new product under some suitable condition.

There is five type of chemical reactions :-

1) Combination or Addition reaction :- The reaction in which two reactant react together to form a single product is called combination reaction.

The general formula is [A + B → AB]

Ex:- C + O _2 →CO_2

 H_2 + O_2 →2H_2O

2) Decomposition reaction :- The reaction in which a single reactant break down in to two or more simpler products in agency of heat, light and electricity is called decomposition reaction.

The general formula is [ AB → A + B]

Ex:- CaCO_3→ CaO + CO_2

3) Displacement reaction :- The reaction in which a reactive metal displaces a less reactive metal from its salt solution is called displacement reaction.

The general formula is [A + BC → AC + B]

Ex:- Na + CuSO_4 → NaSO_4 + Cu

4) Double - Displacement /precipitation reaction :- The reaction in which two compounds exchange their ions and one of the substance form is insoluble in nature is called double displacement reaction.

The general formula is [AB + CD → AC + BD ]

Ex:- BaCl_2 + Na_2SO_4→NaCl + BaSO_4↓

5) Redox Reaction :- The reaction in which oxidation and reduction taking place simultaneously is called redox reaction.

Ex :- CuO + H_2 → Cu + H_2O
