Metaphor = a comparison, saying something is something else.
e.g. she is the golden sun.
Simile = a comparison, saying something is like something else - always uses either 'as' or 'like'.
e.g. she is like a delicate flower
Alliteration = using consecutive words that start with the same letter.
e.g. sizzling sausage
