Answer:

There are two types of seeds. Dicot seeds and monocot seeds

Explanation:

Monocot seeds

Grasses such as rye and corn & grains such as rice and wheat produce monocot seeds. There is only one seed coat for monocotyledonous seeds. The endosperm is bulky and is the site of storage of nutrition or food. The aleurone layer is the outermost layer of the endosperm and it separates the embryo. It's a proteinous layer. The embryo is placed at one corner on monocot seeds. The plumule and radicle of monocot seeds are at two ends.

Dicot seeds

Beans and peas produce dicot seeds. There are two seed coats. The outer seed coat is testa and the inner seed coat is tegmen. There is a scar on the seed coat called the hilum and it's the site of attachment of seed with the fruit. The cotyledons are usually fleshy and site of food reserve.
