In the past different places in the world have made different measurement systems to measure and keep track of the events taking place around them. As a result of this people felt a need to explore more in their field of interest. Thus different people used different measuring standards. Added, due to lack of communication they could not convey their work easily to different parts of theworld. Thus different units and measuring standards evolved. But later on, a common platform was chosen.
