1)The internet provides global learning - the internet can provide a platform fro students to experience things that they would not be able to experience in their locality. The internet enables students to exchange culture, share ideas and have global exposure.
2) Simulation of situations: the internet provides a platform where students can experience real situations or at least have a look at them. This helps to foster the learning.
3)Learning games: the internet provides games for student that can simulate the learning activities. This helps to foster the learned materials. 
4) The internet provides cheap learning material -in the worldwide web, there are many learning materials like books and online videos, like on you tube, that can be used for effective learning by the students.
