SPEED
- It is the total path length covered by a moving body. it does not have direction. Therefore it is a secter quantiy. its SI Unit is m/s or ms-1 or m/s.
- Eg: distance
VELOCITY
- The shortest disatance covered by a moving body is called velocity. It have direction. Therefore it is called vector quantity.
- Eg: displacement
