Difference between Assimilation and Absorption :
Assimilation :- Assimilation is the process of absorption of vitamins, minerals, and other chemicals from food within the gastrointestinal tract, as part of the nutrition of an organism.
Absorption :- The process of absorption means that a substance captures and transforms energy. The absorbent distributes the material it captures throughout whole and adsorbent only distributes it through the surface.
