Differential between digital signature and digital certificate?

So, technically speaking the difference between a digital signature and digital certificate is that a certificate binds a digital signature to an entity, whereas a digital signature is to ensure that a data/information remain secure from the point it was issued.

Digital Signature is created using signer's key for encrypting the document. On the other side, Digital Certificate is a medium to prove holder's identity for a particular electronic transaction.

A digital signature is validating the authenticity of a digital documents, software and messages which was created by a known sender. For File Transfer, sensitive Documents sharing, software distributions and financial transactions a Digital Signature is being used.

A Digital Certificate is a certificate that is issued by a third party Certificate Authority (CA). The CA is verify the identity of the certificate owner. A digital certificate contains the certificate owner name, a serial number, date which displays the certificates valid from and expires date, a copy of certificate owner’s public key and the digital certificates of Certificate Authority (CA).
