Answer:

f(x) = 2/x

fd(x) = 2 lim h to 0 {f(x+h) - f(x)}/h

=2 lim h to 0 {1/(x+h) - 1/x}/h

= 2 lim h to 0 {-h/(h(x+h)x)}

=2 lim h to 0 {-1/((x+h).x)

=2(-1/x^2)

==-2/x^2
