❥︎ Blood also fights infections, and carries hormones around the body.
❥︎ Forming blood clots to prevent excess blood loss.
❥︎ Regulating body temperature.
❥︎ Carrying cells and antibodies that fight infection.

- Thrombocytes have no nucleus.
- Their life span is of 5 - 10 days.
