Differentiate (ax^2 + bx + c) (x - d)
on multiplication we get
ax^3 + bx^2 + cx - adx^2 - bdx - cd
d/dx ( ax^3 + bx^2 + cx - adx^2 - bdx - cd
d/dx(ax^3) + d/dx(bx^2) + d/dx(cx)
- d/dx(adx^2) - d/dx(bdx) - d/dx(cd)
=> 3ax^2 + 2bx + c - 2adx - bd - 0 [ derivative of cd = 0 as they are constants ]
=> 3ax^2 + 2bx - 2adx + c - bd
