electromagnet is temporary magnet while bar magnet is permanent.

(1).Bar magnet is permanant magnet while electromagnet is temporary magnet. (2).we cannot change polarity of bar magnet but can change in electromagnet (3).b.m. strength is fixed but strength of electromagnet can be increased or decreased.
