Differentiate b/w striated,unstriated and cardiac muscles on the basic of their structure and site/location in the body

STRIATED

1. They are under the control of the will.

2. They are made up of long fibres (cells) which are nucleated and striated.

Location : Striated muscles are found in arms,legs,face,neck,etc..

UNSTRIATED

1. They are not under the control of the will.

2. They are made up of spindle shaped/slender tapering cells which are uninucleated.

Location : These muscles are found in the walls of the intestine helping in the passage of food,muscles of the iris of the eye,skin,lining of blood vessels,urinary bladder,uterus etc..

CARDIAC MUSCLES

1. They are involuntary in function.

2. The fibres of cardiac muscle are striated,uninucleated and branched.

Location : These muscles are found only in the walls of the heart.
