REQUIRED ANSWER$ ✍️:-

1. FRICTIONAL FORCE:

  • The force of friction is created between two rough surfaces.
  • The frictional force always acts against the direction of motion.
  • EXP- Walking on the road.

GRAVITATIONAL FORCE:

  • Gravitational force is created by the earth's surface and it acts on every object present on the earth.
  • The motion of an object goes increasing with an increase in gravitational force.
  • EXP- An apple falling from a tree.

2. FORCE:

  • Force is a push or pull on an object that produces acceleration in the body on which it acts.
  • Force can change the direction of motion of a body.
  • EXP- The force of a bat on the ball.

THRUST:

  • The force that acts on an object perpendicular to its surface is called thrust.
  • Thrust is generated most often through the reaction of accelerating a mass of gas.
  • EXP- A fish being expelled from the ocean by a strong wave.

3. ELECTROSTATIC FORCE:

  • Electrostatic force can be stated as the force between two electrically charged particles.
  • They can either be a repulsive or attractive force. It is non-contract force.
  • EXP- Balloons get attracted to another balloon when one of them are rubbed with hair.

MUSCULAR FORCE:

  • Force which is exerted by muscles of the body is called muscular force.
  • They are neither repulsive nor attractive. It is a contact force.
  • EXP- Carrying a bag on your shoulders.

4. SLIDING FRICTION:

  • When the surface of one body is sliding against the surface of another body, sliding friction comes into play.
  • Sliding friction occurs due to interlocking between microscopic bumps on surfaces.
  • EXP- The frame and the edge of the door sliding against one another.

ROLLING FRICTION:

  • When the surface of one body is rolling against the surface of another body, rolling friction comes into play.
  • Rolling friction occurs due to deformation of surfaces.
  • EXP- Rolling of ball or wheel on the ground.
