Answer:

Explanation:

Differentiate Between :

1.Circular motion is the motion of an object around a path(circle), from a fixed distance(radius).

Example- motion of a goat tethered to a pole. Motion of a giant wheel.etc

Rotational motion is a kind of motion in which the body follows a curved path. For example, the wheel of the car or train is in constant rotational motion.

2.A motion which repeats itself at regular intervals of time is called a periodic motion. A motion which repeats itself, but not at regular intervals of time, is called a non-periodic motion.

3.In Uniform motion, movement of a body is along the straight line with constant speed. In non uniform motion, movement of a body is along the straight line with variable speed.

4.A body is said to be at rest if doesn't change it's position with respect to its surroundings while a body is said to be in motion if it continuously changes it's position with respect to its surroundings.

5.Linear motion means motion in straight line. For example a car moving on a straight road. Circular motion means the body is moving on a circular path.

iv.Justify

1.Rotation of earth on its axis replicates its motion after a fixed period of time, so its movement is periodic. The motion of the earth revolving on its axis in every 24 hours is a kind of periodical motion because the time span of 24 hours is fixed.

2.An elastic measuring tape is stretchable. It cannot be used to measure distances because the length of the tape may change on stretching. As a result, the measured length would not be correct.

3. If you see with respect to a person sitting inside the car you are at rest because your position with respect to him is not changing.
