Ans a) Respiration proceeds only when oxygen (a constituent of air) is available and is therefore called aerobic respiration.

Anaerobic Respiration is a type of respiration which proceeds without oxygen.

Ans c) phloem is a conducting tissue which provide food material from the leaves to different parts of the plant body whereas xylem is a also a conducting tissue which provide water minerals from the soil by roots to other parts of the plant body
