combination reaction means two or three or more atoms combine together to form a molecule... and also molecules are also combined to form compound... under a suitable condition

H2+O2 gives 2 H2O

bt in case of decomposition reaction molecules are decomposed to form atoms ...
in aqueous medium if decomposition occur then it forms ions. in this reaction energy is required to break the bond.
2H2O2 gives 2H2O +O2
