CONDUCTOR

  • THE SUBSTANCE WHICH ALLOW THE ELECTRIC CURRENT PASS THROUGH IT.

  • CONDUCTOR HAVE FREE ELECTRONS THATS WHY THEY ALWAYS ALLOW THE CURRENT TO PASS THROUGH IT.

  • THE VALUE OF RESISTIVITY FOR A CONDUCTOR IS LESSER THAN THE INSULATOR.

  • THEY ARE MAINLY USED IN COOKING UTENSILS,ELECTIRCAL WIRES etc

INSULATOR

  • THEY DONOT ALLOW THE CURRENT TO PASS THROUGH IT.

  • THEY DONOT HAVE FREE ELECTRONS TO ALLOW THE CURRENT PASS THROUGH IT.

  • THE VALUE OF RESISTIVITY IS HIGHER THAN THAT OF IN CONDUCTOR.

  • USED IN SAFETY GLOVES
