evaporation - when the surface of earth gets heated, the air above it gets heated and rises above. the process of heating the earth surface and the air rising above is called evaporation.

condensation - as the air rises above, at a height the air becomes cold. as it goes higher and higher it becomes cooler and cooler. this process is called condensation.
