Answer:

Prokaryotes are organisms that consist of a single prokaryotic cell. Eukaryotic cells are found in plants, animals, fungi, and protists. They range from 10–100 μm in diameter, and their DNA is contained within a membrane-bound nucleus. Eukaryotes are organisms containing eukaryotic cells.

>> Difference between Plant Cell & Animal Cell :

#Plant Cell -

  • Compararatively larger in size.
  • They're usually rectangular in shape.
  • Cell Wall is formed of Cellulose & is present outside the cell memberane.
  • Cytoplasm forms thin lining, as it's pushed to the periphery by vacuole.
  • In a mature plant cell, generally a single large centrally located vacuoles is found.
  • Nucleus is present towards the periphery.
  • Simpler units of Golgi bodies called dictyosomes are found scattered.
  • Plastids are present in the cytoplasm.
  • Centrosomes are Absent.
  • Stored Food is in the form of starch, a polysaccharide.

#Animal Cell -

  • Usually smaller in size.
  • They're generally oval in shape.
  • Cell Wall is absent.
  • Cytoplasm fills the entire cell and its dense.
  • Vacuoles, if present, are smaller & many in number & scattered.
  • Nucleus is present in the centre.
  • Golgi Bodies are highly elaborated, present near nucleus.
  • Plastids are absent. Exception: Protozoan, Euglena.
  • Possesses centrioles.
  • Stored food is in the form of glycogen, a polysaccharide.

>> Difference between Prokaryotic Cells & Eukaryotic Cells :

#Prokaryotic Cells -

  • They're unicellular.
  • Their Cell size is 1-10 μ.
  • Their DNA(Deoxyribonucleic Acid) is naked.
  • Their Chromosomes are single & Circular.
  • Thier Ribosomes are smaller, scattered in the cytoplasm.
  • Their nuclear membrane, nucleous, Golgi complex, mitochondria, reticulum, chloroplast & vacuoles are absent.

#Eukaryotic Cells -

  • They're both unicellular & multicellular.
  • Their Cell size is 5-100 μ.
  • Thier DNA (Deoxyribonucleic acid) is combined with histone protein forming chromatin.
  • Their Chromosomes are multiple,linear.
  • Their Ribosomes are bigger, attached to endoplasmic reticulum or free.
  • Their nuclear membrane, nucleous, Golgi complex, mitochondria, reticulum, chloroplast & vacuoles are present.
