Explanation:

ABSOLUTE MAJORITY is one where there is a majority of more than 50% of the total membership in the parliament i.e, greater than or equal to 50%

For example, imagine if the Indian parliament(Lok Sabha) consisted of 100 members, where 49 member voted against a bill but 51 member voted in favour of the bill. This 51 votes can be called as an absolute majority.

A SIMPLE MAJORITY(aka functional majority or working majority) is a majority of more than 50% of the member present and are voting. For example, if there were 100 Lok Sabha members, but if 30 members were absent and 30 members were present but abstained from voting, and from the rest 40 members who were present and voted, 35 voted in favour of a bill and 5 voted against a bill. Then, this 35 votes could be called as a simple majority.

I think so this is the answer for your questions.....✿

Answer:

A majority may sometimes be called a "simple majority" to contrast with other terms using "majority". A "simple majority" may also mean a "relative majority", or a plurality. ... An "absolute majority" may mean a majority of all electors, not just those who voted.
