acceleration due due to gravity is acceleration caused by gravitational attraction of massive bodies in general where as universal gravitational constant is a physical constant that is difficult to measure with high accuracy. It is also known as "newton's constant" denoted by letter "G".

The universal gravitational constant is represented by G and acceleration due to gravity is represented by g.

G is constant or same everywhere in the universe but g varies for example g at earth is 6 times larger than g at moon.
