  • Active Voice-  In Active voice the SUBJECT performs the thing.

For ex- jenny bought a new car

Chris hit a six.

  • Passive Voice- In passive, The subject receives the action expressed in the verb.  Examples- The ball was hit by Chris. (Subj= ball, ball is subject and is getting hit by Chris, it was receiving the action ‘hit’ from Chris)

*To make passive from active- The OBJECT becomes the SUBJECT. ( of active)
