Acute diseases are those which doesn't cause long term effects.
Their symptoms are visible clearly.
They get cured easily.
They get cured in a short period of time.
Eg. Cough and cold.

Chronic diseases are those which cause long term effects.
Some of them are not curable.
They take time to cure.
Their symptoms appear late or are recognised late.
Eg. Cancer, tuberculosis, elephantiasis.

Acquired Infectious diseases are those which is cause by any pathogen or can transfer from one place to another.
These are cause by external factors or acquired from outside.
Eg. Cough and cold

Non infectious are those diseases which are caused by internal factors. And don't spread from one person to another. Eg. cancer , headache etc..
