aerobic respiration

  • aerobic respiration respiration take place in presence of oxygen.
  • complete breakdown of food occurs in it.
  • then products are carbon dioxide and water.

Anaerobic respiration

  • Anaerobic respiration take place in absence of oxygen.
  • partial break down of food occurs in it.
  • then products maybe ethyl alcohol and carbon dioxide only lactic acid

Aerobic respiration.

In this type of respiration , respiration occurs in the presence of oxygen and also produces large amount of energy (38ATP) due to the complete oxidation of glucose.

Anaerobic respiration.

In this type of respiration, respiration occurs in the absence of oxygen and also produces less energy (2ATP) due to the incomplete oxidation of glucose. It also produces by products like ethanol and lactic acid.
