There are many differences between aerobic and anaerobic respiration.

Aerobic respiration occurs in presence of oxygen and anaerobic respiration occurs in absence of oxygen.

Carbon dioxide water and ATP are the end products of aerobic respiration where as lactic acid ethanol and ATP are the end products of anaerobic respiration.

Anaerobic respiration is exothermic process whereas aerobic respiration is endothermic process.
