differentiate between alkane and alkene (any two differences)


feather: alkanes are saturated hydrocarbons while alkenes are unsaturated hydrocarbons. the general formula of alkane is CnH2n+2 while that of alkene is CnH2n.

alkenes are unsaturated compound s with one or more double bonds

alkanes are less reactive
alkenes are more reactive
