1. Natural Vegetation: The Ganga Brahmaputra basin has a  deciduous type of vegetation in the plains which shed their leaves in summer.Sal, Pepal, Banyan are the trees mostly grown here.In the Brahmaputra basin there are thick bamboo groves. The river basin in the delta region has mangrove forests.

Amazon River Basin has an evergreen type of vegetation. The forests are too thick and dense. It always remains dark and damp due to excessive rainfall and lack of sunlight. The leaves always remain green and never shed.

2.Wild life:There are a variety of animals found in the Ganga- Brahmaputra basin. The eastern parts have rhinos, the Bengal tiger, crocodiles etc.he western parts have monkeys, elephants etc.

The Amazon basin is also covered with a rich wild life.It includes monkeys, snakes, pumas, jaguar, tapirs, giant anteaters and some rare species.

3.Minerals: The minerals found in the Ganga- Brahmaputra basin include limestone, quartz, sandstones etc.Amazon basin is considered to have rich mineral deposits like kaolin, coal, petroleum, iron ore etc.
