Antibodies and antibiotics also differ in their mechanism of action: the way they kill pathogens and fight off infection. Antibodiesproduced in B cells bind to specific factors, called antigens, found on the pathogen. Once an antibody binds an antigen, the antibodytriggers an activation of the immune system.

Antibodies are produced naturally by an immune system in the body.Antibodies binds with the antigen found on the pathogens and prevent infection.Antibiotics are either synthetic or  produced from plants or other microorganisms,  and they are purified to prevent infection caused by bacteria.Antibiotic attacks the cell wall and prevents the cellular functions of the bacteria.
