It involves all the fish products obtained from farming on both salt water and fresh water. Aquaculture is otherwise called as blue revolution. Aquaculture helps in nutrient build-up, prevents non-native species from escaping into local waterways, lessens the disease outbreaks in aquatic life and also increases the quality of the final product.
