autotrophs are those organisms which make their own food. for example all green plants and blue green algae
those organisms which do not make their own food, they depend on other organisms for their nutrition are known as heterotrophs. for example all animals and some bacteria and protozoa

Autotrophs:- THE ORGANISMS WHICH MAKE THEIR FOOD WITH SIMPLER MOLECULES LIKE CO2,SUNLIGHT,ETC.
e.g.ALL GREEN PLANTS.

Heterotrophs:-THE ORGANISMS WHICH ARE DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTELY DEPENDENT ON PLANTS FOR THE FOOD,MEDICINAL PURPOSE,ETC.
e.g.ALL ANIMALS.
