Answer:biodegradable means the things which are converted into fossil fuel inside the earth by the temperature and pressure in hundreds of years whereas non-biodegradable material takes millions of years to be converted into fossil fuels

BIODEGRADABLE

  • The wastes which can be decomposed into the soil.
  • Easy to break down by micro-organisms.
  • Doesn't pollute the environment.
  • Cannot be recycled.
  • Example :- Left over food, vegetable and fruit peels etc.

NON-BIODEGRADABLE

  • The wastes which cannot be decomposed into soil or decomposed after million of years.
  • Difficult to break down by living organisms.
  • Pollute the environment.
  • Can be recycled.
  • Example :- Plastic, synthetic fibres etc.
