Biodegradable waste:

1) they can be decomposed easily so they act as manure.

2)they consist of wastes like paper,fruit peels,leftover food,leaves,flowers etc.

3)they don't damage the environment.

4)they are non pollutants.

5)they mostly consist of natural polymer.

6)they get decomposed in short period of time.

Non - biodegradable

1)they can't be decomposed easily.

2)they consist of wastes like metal cans, plastics, glass jars, poly bags etc.

3)they cause serious damage to the environment.

⭕️it's useful as it changes into fossil fuel

⭕it ️does not affect the rain water from reaching the ground water level.

eg:-vegetable peels.

✔️✔️non-biodegradable

⭕it ️cant be decomposed.

⭕️they are not ecofriendly.

⭕️it degrades soil fertility.

⭕️it's not useful as it remains as it is.
