biodegradable substances -
biodegradable means that a substance can be easily decomposed by naturally occurring agents such as oxygen water and Traveller trace microbes acid rain SHR for instance when a banana peel is left in the open several microorganism including bacteria fungi a small insects upon 8 in a relatively short period of time because naturally elements like moisture Oxygen and heat help in the decomposition by breaking the complex organic structure in two similar units in the decompose material will eventually mix and return back to the soil .

Non Biodegradable substances -
on the other hand the non biodegradable substances do not break down or dissolve for many years because of that they can be recycled and reused so instead of throwing waste in the garbage it can be dumped in a proper recycling paste making it useful for other purpose .
