1. It's a fossil fuel

3. It is formed when layers of buried plants and animals are exposed to intense heat and pressure over thousands of years.


Bio Gas
1. It's a bio-fuel
2. It's a renewable like solar or wind energy
3. It is produced by anaerobic digestion with anaerobic bacteria or fermentation of biodegradable materials such as manure, sewage, municipal waste, plant material and crops....

5. decomposition of organic matter yeilds gas, which has higher thermal efficiency in comparison to kerosene, dung cake and charcoal . it gives no smoke . Hence, quite useful.
