Answer:

Civil Rights Movement : (1954-1968) Refers to a set of events and reform movements aimed at legally abolishing racial discrimination against African-Americans. Led by Martin Luther King Junior, this movement practised non-violent methods.

The Black Power : This Movement emerged in 1966 and lasted till 1975, which was more militant anti-racist movement advocating even violence if necessary to end racism in the U.S.

Explanation:

Both the Civil Rights Movement and the Black Power Movement aimed at ending racial discrimination against blacks or African-Americans. But their approach was different-While the Civil Rights Movement adopted non-violent approach, The Black Power Movement adopted violent approach in order to achieve their goal.

Secondly, one group called Nationalists in The Black Power Movement demanded a separate society for African-Americans bu this was not a case with Civil rights Movement.
