boiling point is that temperature at which vapour pressure of liquid become equal to external. pressure on that liquid

  • substance changes from liquid to gaseou state
  • defined for liquid state
  • it has relation with vapour pressure

liquification point

  • the temperature at which a solid turns into a liquid
  • substance changes from solid to liquid
  • defined for solid state
  • no relation with vapour pressure
