hello friend,

Bone and cartilage are types of connective tissues in the body. A bone is hard tissue that forms the skeletal structure of the body. Cartilage, by comparison, is not as hard and rigid as bone, and is present in areas of the body like the ear, nose, larynx, ribs and joints. In the joints of the body, cartilage covers the ends of the bones and acts as a shock absorber to prevent bones from rubbing against each other.
Bones are made up mostly of osteoblasts (progenitor cells), osteocytes (mature bone cells), and osteoclasts (large cells that breakdown bone tissue for growth and repair). A bone is highly vascularized. Whereas Cartilages comprise chondroblasts, (precursor cells), chondrocytes, and a dense matrix of collagen and elastic fibers, in which the mature chondrocytes are embedded. Cartilage is avascular.Bones make up the majority of the axial and appendicular skeleton. Whereas Cartilage is a much softer, more pliable component that is mostly found in between joints of bones (articular cartilage), along the respiratory tract, and in a few other places where flexibility is needed.Bones Protect the body against mechanical damage, assist in the movement of the body, provide a framework and shape for the body, store minerals, and produce red blood & white blood cells. Whereas Cartilage Reducing friction at joints, supporting the respiratory tract, acting as shock absorbers between weight-bearing bones, and maintaining the shape and flexibility of fleshy appendages.Bones grows in both directions.Cartilage grows in a single direction.Bones have marrow in their cavities.Cartilage has got no marrow.Skeletal system is composed of bones and cartilage. Along with the soft tissues, they make up whole of the body. Depending upon their functions, they both are crucial to survival.hope it helps u

Friend !
➡ Main difference is ,
# CARTILAGE : Cartilage is a thin, flexible, avascular, and resistant to compressive forces.
# cartilage's main function is to connect bones together.
# it is found in nose, throat, ribcage, etc.
# BONE : bone is a rigid organ .
# Bone supports and protects various parts of the body.
# bones are found in hands, legs, etc. especially, skull is a main bone is our body.
