Answer:

Budding is when a small bulb like projection called a bud grows on the parent organism and may or may not seperate. (ex: Hydra, yeast etc.)

Whereas, binnary fission is when the parent organism splits into two equal offsprings called the daughter cells. (ex: Amoeba)
